FAQ

Everything a GC asks before hiring Julia.

Straight answers on her calls, accuracy, setup, and billing.

How Julia works

What does Julia do?
Julia is your field coordinator. She calls your superintendent and every sub foreman each morning and afternoon, follows up on open items, and hands your PM one summary by 4 PM. Each sub also gets its own daily report from the same calls.
Is Julia a person?
No. Julia is AI, built to do one job: the daily detail-chasing a field coordinator does. Your super and PM stay in charge of every decision.
What does the field have to do?
Answer the phone. Julia texts a link, they tap, and that is the call. No app, no login, no typing, no training. A typical call is 3.5 minutes; morning check-ins are usually shorter and afternoon wrap-ups collect more detail.
What if a foreman does not pick up?
Julia tries twice. If both calls go unanswered, the missed call is flagged on the dashboard and your team can follow up.
Does Julia understand construction language?
Yes. Julia is tuned for commercial construction vocabulary, trade names, material types, phase terminology, and plain-language field updates.
What languages does Julia support?
Julia supports more than 20 languages, including English and Spanish, so crew leads can speak naturally.
Can Julia collect photos?
Yes. Julia can request photos by text and associate them with the relevant update, issue, or punch item.
Does Julia replace Raken or Procore?
No. Julia works alongside Raken or Procore. They hold the record; Julia makes sure it’s complete.
Can I ask my own AI about a job?
Early access. A connection that lets you ask Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot about any job is still in testing. Ask us where it stands for the tools you use.

AI & Accuracy

Can the report be reviewed before sharing?
Yes. The reporter can review and edit the report before it is distributed.
How does Julia know what to ask?
Julia uses your project plan, schedule context, assigned crew, and reporting workflow to ask the right questions for that call.
What happens to call recordings?
Calls are recorded and transcribed. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely and remain searchable in your account.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Your project data is private to your organization and is not used to train AI models.

Setup & Teams

Will my subcontractors actually use this?
Yes, for two reasons. You require it on your projects, and the same calls give each sub its own daily PDF: crew hours, progress, issues with the GC or other trades, weather, and photos. No app and no extra work for them.

What subs get →

How long does setup take?
You give us the jobs and the people Julia should call: your superintendent and each sub's foreman. Nothing to install and no training for the field.
Can we customize report sections?
Yes. Reports and prompts can be adapted to your project types, trade scopes, and operating model.
Can multiple people contribute to the same project?
Yes. Your superintendent and multiple sub foremen can contribute under the same project, and Julia keeps the updates organized.

Billing

How is pricing calculated?
$250 plus $55 per active crew reporter, billed monthly per project. A typical job with 15 crews is $1,075 a month. No app fees. No per-seat licenses.

What counts as an active reporter?
Anyone Julia calls for field updates during the month: your superintendent or a sub's foreman. Inactive contacts are not counted.
Can we start with one project?
Yes. There is no setup cost to evaluate on a first project. Book a walkthrough so we can map reporters to your active jobs.
